A dental implant is a titanium screw placed in the bone that supports a dental prosthesis; a single crown to restore one missing tooth, or a bridge or denture to restore multiple missing teeth. It has become the ideal, long-term solution for tooth replacement and is now considered standard-of-care. Drs. Crowley and Shamir have been restoring dental implants for many years and have been trained on various different implant systems.
